About CLRA

The Centre for Labour Research and Action works to promote labour rights and social justice for migrant workers in India's vast informal economy. Founded in 2006, CLRA was initially part of Prayas, a rights-based NGO in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. In 2010, CLRA was registered as an independent society and trust in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. For 18 years CLRA has worked tirelessly to transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable and marginalized workers in the country.
